TAALK's Mission

TAALK's mission is to break the silence that surrounds child sexual abuse. We want to shift public consciousness from passive acceptance to the belief that "There is No Excuse for Sexual Abuse." Our efforts will raise awareness of the existing epidemic and educate the public to take action to protect children. TAALK will provide support services to victims and their families and provide community prevention program consulting.

TAALK's Objectives

Develop and Execute a Nationwide Awareness Program

TAALK Today is a program that includes a top down media campaign as well as a grass roots network of members who are committed to spreading the word about the child sexual abuse epidemic. Members personally invite their family, friends and acquaintances to join the movement. The focus of this awareness program is to make child sexual abuse and its prevention an acceptable topic of every day discussion. The program will also encourage the public to take action to protect children.

Develop and Execute a Nationwide Education Program

TAALK Prevention will provide tangible tools for community members and organizations to use in moving from awareness to actively protecting children from child sexual abuse. TAALK will act as a delivery organization by leveraging existing programs, wherever possible.

Develop and Execute a Nationwide Community Coalition Program

TAALK Together is a community coalition of members who work together to raise awareness of the child sexual abuse epidemic and educate other citizens within their local community to better protect children. TAALK will facilitate introductions between program members in the same community, provide a replication plan for program expansion, and train key members to deliver courses from our TAALK Prevention portfolio.

Establish a Nationwide Support Group Infrastructure

TAALKing is Power is a support group infrastructure for direct and indirect victims of child sexual abuse. The focus of these support groups is to educate and motivate participants to help them move from victim through survivor to thriving adults.

Provide Prevention Program Consulting

Fast TAALK consulting services will help organizations assess their prevention needs and establish and/or validate current goals and policies for their child sexual abuse prevention program.  In addition, Fast TAALK will help with the selection of awareness, education and support offerings as well as policy and procedure development to meet the groups’ needs. And finally, TAALK will help organizations develop a strategy for program execution.

Develop and Execute a Nationwide Fund Raising Campaign

Our nationwide fund raising campaign will leverage all possible avenues of support including individual, corporate, foundation and government sources as needed to support our objectives.
