Support and Commune with Survivors
Whether you’re a survivor or the parent of a survivor, healing can be a difficult road and we want you to know you’re not alone. As a matter of fact, experts estimate there are 39 million survivors of child sexual abuse in American but many of them, probably most of them, have never broken the silence. And the silence is deafening.
There are survivors in your community, probably on your street, maybe even in your home. But you’ll never know until you give yourself permission to talk about it. Your abuser stripped you of your power when you were just a child. Now it’s time to take it back. Talking IS power and each time you allow any part of your story to be told, to cross your lips, even in a whisper, even if you’re alone, you release a part of your pain and recapture a part of that power; a part of your precious innocence that was lost so long ago.
We all need someone to support us through our healing process, wherever we may be in the process. We all need to talk to someone who truly understands; someone who has personally experienced the pain, embarrassment, shame and betrayal of child sexual abuse. We are there for you. You can be there for us. We are in this together.
We encourage you to:

If you’re not ready to meet face-to-face as part of our TAALKing is Power support group but you want to connect with other survivors, we encourage you to join The Broken Spirits Network. They provide a comprehensive discussion forum where users can create their own virtual identify with complete confidentiality. This allows people to discuss the happenings in their life without letting others know who they are.
Our hearts pour out to those of you who have had to endure the devastating pain of child sexual abuse and hope that as you move through your healing process you will eventually arrive at a place where you can reach out and help others by joining our TAALK Together community coalition. As you know, there is power in numbers and if the 39 million survivors of child sexual abuse start talking and working together we will learn so much from our collective experiences that we WILL shift public consciousness from passive acceptance to the belief that “There is No Excuse for Sexual Abuse.”
