Carla van Dam, Ph.D. - Carla van Dam is a forensic psychologist working in the US and Canada. Her focus has been on preventing child sexual abuse by better understanding those who sexually molest children in order to teach community members how to recognize those whose behavior should be suspect. In addition to extensive forensic work and innumerable evaluations on known child molesters, she has trained professionals, done public speaking, worked with the legal system, consulted with various organizations, and helped community groups manage this complicated terrain.
